Natalie Torres-Haddad (she/her) is a two-time TEDx speaker known for her talks “The foreign language of financial literacy” and “The confidence gap.” She is an international award-winning author, educator, and bilingual podcast host of Financially Savvy in 20 Minutes.

Her activities have been featured in Forbes as a Trailblazer, LA Times, 60-second documentaries, and as the first Latinx Financial expert contributor for Telemundo’s new all English News show, “Radar.” Some of her videos have received over a million views, and she is a sought-out keynote speaker as a financial literacy and mental health advocate.

A first-generation college graduate from Cal State Long Beach in Finance and International Business, and with a Master’s in Public Administration from Cal State University Northridge, she focuses on helping those with student debt to keep them working toward financial independence.

Her first children’s book release on Oct. 1, 2020, made the #1 best seller list on Amazon. “A Dress to Remember” is based on the nonprofit LA’s Prom Closet, which Torres-Haddad founded and ran for 7 years.

Born in El Salvador and raised in Inglewood during the LA Riots, she quickly understood that the lack of higher education and financial literacy limits her community of basic human rights and equality in resources. Torres-Haddad started investing in real estate at age 24 and began her career advocating for financial literacy and financial empowerment. She is hired all over the country to speak and has traveled to over 30 countries. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two dogs.
